Space is a unique holiday event run by Christians for people aged 18 and over.
It aims to refresh you physically, mentally and spiritually.
Space takes place at Great Wood – a site owned by Scripture Union in the Quantock hills in Somerset. Surrounded by pine forests, and with a fresh-water stream flowing through the site, it is breathtakingly beautiful, incredibly peaceful (when the music is turned down) and very special.
There’s fantastic food, late night films, teaching, discussion on real-life issues, beautiful scenery, excellent worship, mountain biking, barbecues, music, volleyball, log cabins under a starry sky, pub night, space is the place night club, sunbathing…
… and then there may also be camel trekking (honest), massages, country dancing, a camp fire, buckets and spades… time out…
Fresh air, green fields and blue sky are proven to be good for you – it’s called the ‘biophilia effect’ and Space delivers on every front!
Great Wood can only hold a maximum of 70 people which means you can’t get lost in the crowd – unless you want to!
